Sky Bus driving over the Rainbow Bridge with open roof

The highlight of the Blue Course is undoubtedly the drive across the Rainbow Bridge. The wind picks up, the air smells salty, and the view opens up to the vast Tokyo Bay. You are heading to Odaiba, a man-made island of entertainment.

The Drive: Rainbow Bridge

This suspension bridge is an engineering marvel. Note: On the open-top bus, hold onto your hats! It gets very windy on the bridge upper deck.

Top Sights in Odaiba

1. The Unicorn Gundam

Standing outside DiverCity Tokyo Plaza is a life-sized (19.7m) Gundam robot.

  • Transformation: At specific times during the day, the armor plates shift, and the "Psycho-Frame" lights up.

2. Statue of Liberty

Yes, Tokyo has one too. It’s smaller than the NY one but positioned perfectly for a photo with the Rainbow Bridge in the background.

3. Fuji TV Building

A futuristic building with a massive metallic sphere suspended in the middle. You can visit the sphere for an observation deck view.

4. Miraikan (National Museum of Emerging Science and Innovation)

Slightly further in, this museum features ASIMO the robot and exhibits on space and the future.

Shopping & Dining

  • Aqua City & Decks: Massive malls with seaside decks.
  • Ramen Kokugikan: A "stadium" of ramen shops inside Aqua City featuring famous styles from across Japan.

Odaiba feels open, spacious, and modern—a nice break from the cramped alleyways of the older districts.
